BROTHER EFRAIN
Each day, Br. Efrain wears this chain and pendant. The chain was a gift from his mother when he entered monastic life, and the Benadictine pendant represents the monastic order and meaningful prayers. The necklace is worn under the habit, but Br. Efrain uses a pamphlet about the pendant and the prayers to explain the Benedictine beliefs to the students he works with.
